Evolve Dance Company – Terms & Conditions 26/27
By enrolling your child in classes with Evolve Dance Company (EDC), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Notice Period
If you wish to withdraw your child from Evolve Dance Company, written notice must be provided by the 25th of the month. If notice is received after the 25th, the subscription payment due on the 1st of the following month will still be collected. Your child’s membership will then be cancelled after that payment has been processed.
2. Uniform
All students are required to wear the official Evolve Dance Company uniform for classes and private lessons, with hair styled in a neat low bun with a middle parting and neat low pony with a middle parting for Junior & Teen Commercial.
We ask that all new students purchase their EDC uniform (1 top & 1 bottoms) within two months of joining. Until the uniform arrives, dancers should wear plain black dancewear including leggings, shorts, t-shirt, crop top and appropriate footwear.
3. Overdue Payments
Monthly subscriptions are processed through ClassForKids. They will make three attempts at payment each month.
If payment has not been successfully received after the third attempt:
- A £15 late payment fee will be invoiced to you to cover administrative costs.
- Your child will be unable to attend classes until the outstanding balance, including the late payment fee has been paid in full.
4. Class Age Groups
Please ensure your child is enrolled in the correct age group when booking classes. This helps ensure they receive training appropriate to their age and ability. Evolve Dance Company reserves the right to move a student to a different class if this is considered to be in their best interests.
5. Extreme Weather & Unforeseen Closures
In the event that classes have to be cancelled due to extreme weather or circumstances beyond our control, Evolve Dance Company will make every reasonable effort to arrange a replacement class.
If it is not possible to reschedule, refunds cannot be offered, as venue hire and other operating costs will still have been incurred.
6. Private Lessons
Private lessons are booked on a termly basis.
An email will be sent before the end of each term inviting you to book lessons for the following term.
By confirming a termly booking, you are committing to payment for the full term. If your child stops attending before the end of the term, payment for the remaining booked private lessons will still be due.
7. Photography & Video
From time to time, photographs and videos may be taken during classes, performances or events for promotional purposes, including use on social media platforms. Permission will only be granted where parental consent has been provided upon registering on Classforkids.
8. Medical Information
Parents or guardians are responsible for informing Evolve Dance Company of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies or additional needs that may affect their child’s participation. It is also your responsibility to ensure your emergency contact details remain up to date on Classforkids.
9. Behaviour
We strive to provide a positive, inclusive and respectful environment for all students.
Students are expected to behave respectfully towards teachers, staff and fellow dancers at all times. Bullying, disruptive behaviour or repeated misconduct may result in suspension or removal from classes at the discretion of Evolve Dance Company. Parents and guardians are also expected to communicate respectfully with staff at all times.
10. Attendance
If your child is unable to attend a class, we would appreciate notification where possible. Missed classes are non-refundable and cannot normally be transferred or credited.
11. Collection of Children
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is dropped off and collected promptly.
Evolve Dance Company cannot accept responsibility for children outside of their scheduled class times unless prior arrangements have been made.
If your child is under the age of 13, a parent or guardian needs to collect them once their class has finished. If you’re happy for your child to leave unsupervised you will need to sign our collection policy.
12. Personal Belongings
Students are responsible for their own belongings. Evolve Dance Company cannot accept liability for any lost, stolen or damaged personal items.
13. Health & Safety
Students should not attend classes if they are unwell or have an illness that may be contagious.
Teachers reserve the right to ask a student to sit out of a class if they believe participation may pose a risk to the student or others.
14. Changes to Classes
Evolve Dance Company reserves the right to amend class timetables, teachers, venues or fees where necessary. Wherever possible, reasonable notice will be provided.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling your child with Evolve Dance Company, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
